My Type

My Type is a film directed by independent filmmaker Doddi El-Gabry. I worked closely with Doddi and composer Alberto Matesanz to craft the perfect sound for the film. No on-set sound was recorded so close attention to detail and compelling foley recording was vital to bring the film to life.

“My Type” is something like a whiff of sweet perfume coming from the next-door table of a chilled jazz café. The story follows a lowly writer who struggles to finish his script, yet still manages to find the time to write to his pen-pal - their relationship is seemingly perfect...until she asks him to meet!
